Warranty

Delcan Manufacturing Ltd. warrants its DelPro 1238™ & DelPro 1638™ Interlocking PVC Panel as well as the matching accessories (J-Trim, H-Trim, Outside Corner Trim, Base Trim, Inside Cove Trim, Multifunction Trim) to the original purchaser against blistering, rotting, pitting, corroding, flaking and peeling that result from defects in materials in normal service for a period of 25 years from the date of purchase. This warranty is non-transferable and only applies to the original purchaser.

Delcan Manufacturing’s obligation under this Limited Warranty is limited to the replacement of defective products. Warranty for defective products shall not include the cost or expense of any labor necessary for the replacement of the defective materials.

Delcan Manufacturing Ltd. shall have a reasonable time after notification to inspect the Product. The Owner must deliver to Delcan Manufacturing Ltd., a full description of the problem which will include photographs and samples of the Product in question. If the owner fails to provide sample Products or photographs, Delcan Manufacturing Ltd.’s obligation under this Warranty shall immediately terminate. If Delcan Manufacturing Ltd. determines there are defects that are covered by this Warranty, Delcan Manufacturing Ltd. will have up to ninety (90) days after receipt of notification to process the Owner’s claim (“Ninety Day Period”). Delcan Manufacturing Ltd. is not responsible for the cost of any repairs made prior to the Ninety Day Period, unless it is authorized in writing by Delcan Manufacturing Ltd.

WARRANTY LIMITATIONS
This warranty does not cover problems that occur due to improper installation methods. See DelPro 1238™ & DelPro 1638™ installation manual for details.
This warranty does not cover:
a) Damage caused by improper maintenance or by use contrary to supplier’s recommendations.

b) Colored Panels.
c) Expansion/Contraction of profile addressed in the DelPro 1238™ & DelPro 1638™ installation manual.
d) Any application of paint, coatings, sealants, adhesives or laminated coverings that are not recommended by the manufacturer.
e) Damage caused by cleaners other than those cleaners recommended by the manufacturer.
f) Normal wear and tear or color changes due to exposure to smoke, fumes, leaks, abuse or animal waste.
g) Damage caused by wind or other “Acts of God.”

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY SET FORTH HEREIN IS EXCLUSIVE AND DELCAN MANUFACTURING LTD. EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES WHETHER WRITTEN, ORAL, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. NO SPECIAL, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL OR EXEMPLATORY DAMAGES HOWEVER ARISING, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, MAY BE RECOVERED AGAINST DELCAN MANUFACTURING LTD.
